Bio

Yes, I am only 1 person, however very much a believer in the language of we…our…us. This is what shapes most of my most favorite experiences.

Born & raised in New Zealand, was introduced to rugby and the back country very early. My first real hike (tramp) was to Lake Daniels as a 10 or 11 year old. And since then have never looked back.

Currently living in Western Pennsylvania (well, unto late March 2017), then moving back to New Zealand. CHANGE THAT!!! As of April 1st (no joke) we are home, moved back to New Zealand & to the Canterbury Region. So look for more great adventures & reflections from New Zealand.

Experiences in the wilderness, the mountains and on the water have been some of my most formative both personally, spiritually(Faith), relationally and professionally. The more extreme the better, and sometimes the more miserable the more formative. This has expressed itself both recreationally, leading others and in a competition atmosphere too.

Having competed in Adventure Races for over 10years is some really remote, wild but stunningly amazing places (French Alps, United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica, Canadian Rockies, New Zealand, South Africa and USA).

A life time of adventure has prepared me to recognize the importance of listening and story telling.

I look forward to hearing yours and telling some of my own.

“I have no special talents I’m only passionately curious.” Albert Einstein.

“True adventure doesn’t begin until things start to go wrong.” Yvon Chouinard.
